English and French have always been front-runners when it came to the most beneficial and popular languages in the world.
They have both made a serious mark in the world and have some of the biggest population speaking them. English is currently a global language which is by far the most popular language in the world but French is not very far behind as it is catching up to English and is currently one a popular language if not the most. Learning English is a common practice in every single country and learning French has been recently adopted as a common practice in every single country. English and French are the only two languages which are taught in every country.
Let’s now see which one you should learn English or French.
As previously mentioned, English and French both have now been adopted in every single country to be taught to the students of the country.
English has always been a mandatory language and French seems to have caught up to it. Both languages are extremely popular and beneficial. But, when it comes to learning both of them, it is important to decide which one should be learnt first to make it easy to learn the other. Additionally, both languages are very similar and therefore interconnected with one another. In this blog, we will discuss which language is better to learn first.
In my personal opinion, you should first learn English and then advance to French.
One French is a pretty easy language to master, it is much easier for any English native speaker or anybody who’s achieved proficiency in the language of English. Otherwise French can be another tough language to master especially if your native language is Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, etc. If you natively speak the language of Spanish, Italian, Romanian or any other romantic language, then learning English is going to be one of the easiest tasks and apart from that learning French is also going to be a very easy hurdle to cross.
Learning English will essentially help you master a language that you will anyways have to use globally.
English is probably the easiest language to master out of every language present in the world and therefore it has a very popular status globally. Furthermore, it will make your life much easier when you advance to a much tougher language like French and you will already be halfway through, due to your knowledge of English. Hence, I believe that while French isn’t the toughest language to master, learning English will make your life much easier to master such an advanced language.
In this blog, we have discussed the different reasons why English is better off mastered first when compared to French.
This is simply because learning French is a little more complicated in comparison to English and learning English first would actually make it much easier for you to be able to master French. Both the languages are bound to be very beneficial, regardless of which pattern to master the two in.
