Introduction
The English language is one of the most famous languages in the world. The number of speakers who speak English as a foreign language is larger than the number of its native speakers. On the other hand, Korean is an East Asian language that is the native language of North Korea and South Korea. The environment and distribution of both languages are different from each other.
Language-lovers are always in search of new things about languages. They learn new languages constantly and also research the things that are associated with different languages. They are always busy with experiments and find new things about languages.
Searching for similarities between English and Korean is a new thought! As a language lover, I have also searched for it but, it is a hard nut to crack! While I was learning Korean, my knowledge of English helped me a lot. I observed the following:

Linking Languages:
English and Korean both are the linking languages. The English language is the linking language in most European countries. It covers a relatively larger area. On the other hand, Korean is the linking language in many Asian countries.
Morphology:
Morphology is the study of forms of words and their origins. There are two parts of English grammar study: Morphology and syntax. Both the parts are studied as separate branches. Similarly, in the Korean language, the words are learned through morphology. You can search about the origin of the words and then connect them to their usage.
Parts of Speech:
Both the languages have similar parts of speech and their usage. The parts of speech are used in the sentences as subject, object, and verb. The most important thing I noticed was the order of words. In the sentence of the English language, you use the word order: Subject+Verb+object, and in that of Korean, you use Subject+object+verb.
Use of Tones:
The use of tones and stress in speech is very important in both languages. You use tones and stress to show different emotions while speaking.
Use of Loanwords:
The English language allows the use of loanwords, and so does the Korean language. It means that some words of English have become part of the Korean language and vice-versa.
Vowels and Consonants:
Both languages have a predefined set of vowels and consonants. There are 5 vowels and 21 consonants in English and 10 consonants and 14 vowels in Hangul, the writing system of Korean. The number of vowels and consonants may differ but the use of them is similar in both languages.
The number of Training Institutions:
Though there is a significant difference in the number of speakers of both languages, the languages are equally famous among language lovers. Therefore, the number of institutions that train people in both languages is enormous. You can find a lot of online institutions that offer courses in both languages.
