The dialect study has been uniquely integrated into the curriculum, in general emphasizing the linguistic realities in the Arab World. You have to work for four to five hours a day outside of class
Level 4.5: Advanced Arabic II
At this level you will be refined and practice your listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will learn how to use and extend your advanced vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills more consciously and effectively. More focussed on speaking with the use of idioms and special expressions to identify the intent and emotions by recognizing tone, content, and word usage.
You will be focussed more on reading novels, short stories, and analysing the media by listening to particular interviews, debates and talks, which serves as the basic learning for dynamic oral communicative practice. You can be involved in class discussions and will be having the opportunity to express your opinions on the issues that are happening in the Arab world. You will be allowed to write a research paper and give long presentations. You have to work for four to five hours a day outside of class.
