Complete Explanation of Korean Language Levels

The Korean language is an East Asian language spoken by over 70 million people worldwide mainly in South Korea and North Korea. Modern Korean comes from Middle Korean, which in turn comes from the Old Korean language.

Korean Language Levels

Beginners Level

At this level, you will learn Alphabets, the introduction of Korean Language, Numbers, Basic Understanding of words, reading and writing. At this level, students can understand very basic and familiar words and phrases and they can read the basic phrases and sentences. This also includes sentence formation, understanding points of sentences and phrases, initial speaking in Korean and basic things, the introduction of Korean Culture and Calligraphy in Korean. Intermediate Level

At this level, students will learn day to day words of the Korean language, introduction of script translation, basic grammar, conversation and also sentence formation in an enhanced form. Students will know a lot more Korean words in terms of writing, speaking and reading. You will also learn about Korean Culture and Calligraphy in detail.

They can understand points on familiar aspects that are used in day to day life, detailed descriptions of events, letters and magazines, any form of extended speech and complex conversations. In addition, students will also read literature ranging from articles to national reports.  Finally, at this level students will start to speak like a Korean speaker and also enter into unprepared conversations with a degree of extreme fluency with other natives or students, provided the topic is already familiar to them.

Advanced Level

At this level, they are involved in script translation, enhanced grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking. Students will have an assessment of their reading, writing and speaking skills at this level and higher knowledge of Korean is given. They will also study Korean Culture and Calligraphy about the history of Korea. You can effortlessly understand Korean films, music, documentaries, dramas, specific articles in the newspaper, culture and Korean style etc. Conversations and writing tasks will be given at complex, factual and logical literature in a variety of styles. 

This level is the final point of fluency and you will not get any difficulty in understanding the language in spoken or written form where you can clearly present any introduction or even an argument. You will have the freedom to express fluently to others without any expression of distress and you will be extremely flexible and effective in your speech.
