How to teach English effectively in class?
English is a West Germanic language that was initially spoken in early mediaeval England and has since become the dominant language of worldwide conversation in the twenty-first century. It is called after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that moved to the area of Great Britain that was subsequently named England after them. Both names are derived from the Baltic Sea peninsula of Anglia. English’s closest relatives are Frisian and Low Saxon, and its lexicon has been heavily impacted by other Germanic languages. Although English is not the most widely spoken language in the world, it is the official language in the majority of nations and is used regularly in most corporate communications all over the world, making it rather significant in terms of learning.
