Health officials in Kerala have confirmed the death of 10 people due to the deadly Nipah virus.Twenty-five others have been hospitalised with symptoms of the infection in Kozhikode. Nipah is an infection which can be transmitted to humans from animals, mainly bats.There is no vaccination for the virus which has a mortality rate of 70%.
