There are three major types of TCF examinations which are:

1. 1. TCF: This exam is customised specifically for the personal, academic and professional use of the bearer. This certification is great for those individuals who wish to use it for their career or higher studies. 
   2. TCF (DAP): This exam is customised specifically for those students whose ultimate goal is to pursue their education in French, especially their undergraduate courses.
   3. TCF(French Nationality): As the name suggests, this exam is meant for those individuals who wish to settle in France and obtain official nationality. 

Both exams are held in cities around India, including Bhopal, Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, and Mumbai. That being stated, for the year 2022, the centers for both are as follows:

1. TCF Tout Public (TCF and TCF DAP) is held in two places: 

• Kolkata: 3, Flat 15, Park Mansion, gate, 57A, Park St, Kolkata, West Bengal 700016 
• Bhopal: Amaltas Complex, B-75 Next to, Shahpura, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh 462016 

2. TCF ANF (French Nationality) is held only in Kolkata: 3, Flat 15, Park Mansion, gate, 57A, Park St, Kolkata, West Bengal 700016

All candidates must come to the examination centre to register themselves on the assigned registration dates (candidates can check the timings at the centres).

Candidates are required to fill in a registration form manually fater taking a print or online, attach a Government Photo Id, and a recent passport-size photograph and pay the registration fees. This can be done online or paid at the centre of your choice.

It is expected and recommended that the candidates check the examination centre website to verify updates if any, a day prior to the exam.

Candidates arriving late will be declared “non-admissible” and will not be allowed entry to the examination halls. Registration fees, in such a case will also not be refunded.

The TCF registration fees are neither refundable nor transferable.

The TCF examinations can range from anywhere between RS. 90,000 to RS. 1,05,000.

Last date for registration is strictly centre dependent.
