In my personal opinion, it is way better to learn the language of French in your home country than to learn it in France. To explain this in detail, let’s examine the methodology of learning a language through the immersion method. This method involves an individual living in the country whose target language is spoken the most. In our case to opt for an immersion method would be to essentially live in France and learn it authentically over there. There are some major drawbacks to this method as it creates serious trouble for the individual trying to master the language since they have absolutely no basis Or any idea what’s your ever in regards to the language and we are honestly just playing their luck. Eventually, the individual is forced to master the language naturally.
The varying mindsets and the needs of people!
On the other hand, it is always better to at least learn the basics in your own home country as that would create a much safer and easier environment to master the rest of the language even if you want to do so in France. This would mean that you will have a much better footing and will be able to survive in even the dire situations that you could come across.

Furthermore, there are many great courses available in India in the language of French as it is not the most popularly learned second language in India. Learning the language at least to a certain extent will give you an amazing advantage when you actually travel to the land of France.
