To get a job in Italian you need to be very good, which means you should reach the sixth level and final one. For this, you need between 24 and 36 weeks of lessons. So you need to learn for six to eight months to learn Italian from zero to working-in-an-office level.
If you have the time and the motivation then you will reach a reasonable conversation in much less time, and in a month or two you will really transform your ability to communicate in Italian.
