French:
There are many similarities between the French and English language, the first one being that nearly thirty percent of English words came from french also, since french is a romance language meaning it has its origin in Latin, most of the Latin words also came to English via French. Some language’s vocab starts out quite easy and then gets harder. But French is one of those languages that starts out quite hard, but then gets easier. Especially if you speak English already.
French is a world language, spoken by over 220 million people, learning French can give you access to a huge chunk of the world.

Norwegian:
Norwegian is a Germanic language and spoken by around 5 million people in Norway and Denmark. What makes Norwegian an easy language to learn is the fact that it does not conjugate the verbs. You just add -e to form the past tense, the auxiliary vil to form the future tense, ville ha to the conditional perfect, and -s to speak in the passive voice. Norwegian is also a similar language to English due to the fact that the sentences are written in the same structure.

Portuguese:
Also one of the romance languages, It is pretty easy to learn since it shares a lot of cognates with the English language. Some are perfect cognates, which means the pronunciation is exactly the same and words are identical such as banana, chocolate, and material. There are other words also that are quite similar but not the same, but still, pretty familiar to pronounce such as-
diferente (different), exemplo (example), humano (human), música (music), positivo (positive) and televisão (television).
Portuguese also has fewer prepositions than English and just like Spanish, an easy method for asking questions: you do not have to change anything in the sentence, just your intonation. It is spoken in Brazil, Portugal, and some African countries, so there are lots of travel opportunities!

Indonesian:
You’re probably thinking: Isn’t Indonesian an Asian language? Then how could it possibly be similar to English? Well, Indonesian is in fact, a rare language that uses the Latin alphabet. While other Asian languages, like Mandarin or Japanese, use unfamiliar written characters, this doesn’t apply to Indonesian so you don’t have to learn a whole new writing system. Yippee!
In addition, Indonesian words are pronounced exactly as it sounds. That means no silent vowels, complicated accents, or any other hidden confusions that exist in other easy languages we’ve listed. Most of the words sound similar to English or dutch so it’s still a pretty easy language to learn.
