Spend your time speaking Italian for at least half an hour a day. Even when you did not find any speakers on some days with your group, do not forget to study those days also. Try to give your Italian speaker a call and chat in Italian for half an hour.

 Have a meeting with an online Italian instructor during his or her office hours and attend the class in Italian, also get as much practice whenever you get time.

3. Practice basic phrases

Get to know a few basic phrases with the help of Italian movies which help you get around in Italy and it will interest you to go further with the language. Having a little knowledge of these basic phrases will give you a good start if you decide to take an Italian class online. Also, practice pronouncing these phrases with an Italian accent.

4. Consume Italian media

Immersion in media is a good way to improve your language skills, and it helps you gain a stronger understanding of the Italian language through their culture and other contents. 

Search for Italian films and watch them with Italian subtitles, or no subtitles at all at home. Do not watch the movie just for entertainment, focus on understanding the language, on repeatedly watching the movie you will soon be able to pick up on what the actors are having the conversation with.

  Always speak only Italian and try to avoid English. Do not move toward the English-speaking foreigners, then you will feel more comfortable in your zone. There are many well-meaning Italians that may assume you would rather speak English, but you should politely continue to speak Italian without having a break, even if you feel difficult at first. With enough motivation and practice, you’ll be able to speak with fluency and the language will begin to start
