Beginner Levels
This level is for absolutely Beginners. You do not need any background in the Language to start learning. They will teach you from the basics, making an effort to teach you the alphabet at the start. There are 3 sub-levels in this. Each sub-level takes you to the next level of learning and understanding. This Beginner Level is ideal for anyone from 5 years and above which has a duration of 3 months consisting of 10 lessons. For students from 5 years to 10 years of kids, it’s better to have their parents in the class.
You will learn 10 Lessons including Writing, Reading Sanskrit Alphabet, Consonant and Vowel
Conjunctions, 12 Prayer slokas, Shanti mantras, Bhagavad Gita Slokas 1-5, 50 Vocabulary Words for Spoken and Identification and 10 Conversation Sentences daily for Spoken practice.
Intermediate level
At this level, you will learn the introduction to Some Unique characteristics of Sanskrit, Revision of the main features, Different verb forms, vocabulary, plural and tenses, Poetic verses, conversations and stories. You will learn various verbs with different tenses and the Sentence structures with different questions, the introduction of more words, and Conjugation of verbs, introduction to different declensions in singular, dual and plural verb forms, introduction to Vowel with a consonant, Aspirant with vowel or consonant, reading and comprehension conversations. You will learn with a variety of word endings, various verbs and tenses using the plural with different question forms.
Advanced level
This is a high-level course in Sanskrit literature. At this level, you will learn the broadest range of literary genres, epic, courtly poetry, drama, Upani, and verse and Vedic. This course is introduced for the final-year students with the epigrammatic genre of sutra characterised by extreme brevity and density of expression. These are often accompanied by indigenous authors that explain the root text. You will also master the conventions associated with commentarial style and this is an important level in a student’s development as you will be able to read Sanskrit texts and you will become an independent reader.
You can read the advanced-level text such as the Gitagovinda fluently and accurately, and chant the verses. You will be able to translate the vocabulary of the text at an advanced level using a Sanskrit-English dictionary and understand the advanced grammatical structures and reference grammars.
