Make some time!
To learn anything, you have to invest some time into it.
For the starting, you can just take aside 10 minutes of your time every day and dedicate it to learning French. We are starting slow so that all the new information doesn’t overwhelm you and you can slowly get the hang of the new language.
You can slowly increase your studying time or maybe keep it the same! It’s up to you. Just remember to stay consistent as learning a language takes time and you really need to commit to it.

In everyday small talks, we don’t really need to know a lot of words, just some 300 words are enough.
Learning these words will help you keep motivated as you will be able to engage in small conversations. Also, 45% of English words have French origin, so French is a language that is closely related to English and therefore easy to learn for English speakers.
Now, the online part comes: Just search important words of the French language, and you will get them. So, start learning those!

You can also watch French movies and Tv shows to first-hand experience native French speakers speak. Youtube is a great help if you want to learn proper pronunciation.
Maybe find someone with whom you can talk to in French and practice and in turn you can teach them your native language.
Learn about French culture!
As you begin to study a new language, take some time to learn about the culture of the people who speak that language. French culture has played a vital role in shaping world arts, cultures, and sciences. In particular, France is internationally recognized for its fashion, cuisine, art, and cinema. So there are some interesting things that you can learn there.
Also understanding the culture will help you appreciate the language more which in turn will keep you interested in studying the language.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and use the French that you learn in your daily life.
