Introduction:
Japanese is an East Asian language spoken by about 128 million people, primarily in Japan, where it is the national language. It is a member of the Japonic (or Japanese-Ryukyuan) language family, and its ultimate derivation and relation to other languages are unclear. Japonic languages have been grouped with other language families such as Ainu, Austroasiatic, Korean, and the now-discredited Altaic, but none of these proposals has gained widespread acceptance. Japanese is an agglutinative, mora-timed language with relatively simple phonotactics, a pure vowel system, a phonemic vowel and consonant length, and a lexically significant pitch accent.
Japanese has no clear genealogical relationship with Chinese though in its written form it makes prevalent use of Chinese characters, known as kanji (漢字), and a large portion of its vocabulary is borrowed from Chinese. The Japanese writing system also uses two syllabic (or moraic) scripts: hiragana (ひらがな or 平仮名) and katakana (カタカナ or 片仮名), however, Latin script is used in a limited fashion (such as for imported acronyms). The numeral system uses mostly Arabic numerals, but also traditional Chinese numerals.
Why learning Japanese is beneficial
To be honest, I cannot tell why for each and every individual. I cannot speak on behalf of any person as I am not a mind reader but my research for why a lot of people choose to learn Japanese as a foreign language is because of their unique culture, tradition, anime movies and series, and what is not interesting about Japan? Everything about the place is amazing.
The main reason why a lot of teens learn a foreign language is that they are inspired by their meaningful, addictive, and beautiful Japanese anime movies and series. People of this particular age are out of patience to watch the next episode of One-piece, Naruto, and a lot more series. Understanding and learning the Japanese language to watch Japanese movies/series is another level. Many of them who are anime freaks may not know how to speak but they do understand the Japanese language as they have been watching from their young ages.
Another reason why is because of their way of peaceful living, discipline, cleanliness, etc. When you watch any movies or news channels about Japan, you must have seen the streets and cities that are absolutely clean. People of Japan are not allowed to litter in the streets. They take it seriously as they respect their government and also, they are responsible to keep their place clean. There are many things that we can learn from Japan and we should start learning now! Why Japan? Don’t you have that dream to settle in a small Japanese town peacefully with the greens all around you and a stream nearby? That’s my dream and this motivates me to learn Japanese as a foreign language and also if you are qualified to be an English teacher in Japan. Why are you still here? Go live my dream even if I cannot. Thank me later. Oh! And you need to learn Japanese too. Don’t stress thinking about where you can learn Japanese. Not only the above you can make a career out of it if you are skillful enough to make it happen. There are many Japanese companies you can try on as bilingual as they are highly demanded in today’s competitive world.
